Craft Party

Last night some of us crazy Oakcrest friends got together and had a craft party.  It was Alabama (me), Splash (April #2), Blinky (Julia), Biph (Kathrin), and Doodle (Stephanie).  We made Halloween/Fall wreaths similar to the one from this blog post.  It was really fun catching up and laughing about stupid things. Sometimes I forget how fun it is to hang out with old friends, but during this get-together we started plans for our next craft night, so we won't go waiting months and months to get together again.  We are even thinking about starting a craft club, and we came up with some really cool name ideas, like the ABCD Craft Club, and we made up a club song that we have to sing before we start crafting.  But I won't reveal too many of our club secrets because I don't want to make everyone jealous.  When Tony came home from scouts and heard some of the things we talked about I think he was embarrassed for us and thought we were big weirdos, but we are, so that's okay.  Here are some pictures from last night:

Too bad Julia changed her pose at the last second.

Nice wreath, Biph!

All of us.

Julia's finished wreath.

I just barely finished my wreath this morning.  It took a long time because I distressed all the circles.  I think it looks a little crowded and maybe I should take off a few circles but I'll probably just leave it the way it is.  I love making Halloween crafts and can't wait for October!
