Visiting the Witches

Last Thursday (Sep 22) Julia, Sarah, Charlotte and I went to Gardner Village to visit all the crazy witches.  It was fun to look around in some of the stores, especially the fabric store (Pine Needles).  I just wished they would have a 90% off everything sale.  We didn't buy anything because it was so expensive, but there were many, many fabrics I pined for!  We stopped at the candy store to get a Halloween treat for Sarah and then we walked around and took pictures with some of the witch displays.

Julia wanted me to take a picture of this pillow, I think because she wants to make one like it.

I took a picture of this Halloween advent calendar because I've been working on one that looks different from this one, but I've seen lots of versions on Pinterest and blogs that look like this one (which is a copy of an old Pottery Barn calendar).  I like the look of this one though and want to keep it for reference in case I ever want to make a simpler Halloween calendar (the one I'm working on now has been a lot of work).
